A forint bevezetésének 75. évfordulója alkalmából a Magyar Nemzeti Bank rendhagyó módon az 5 forintos forgalmi érme hatféle emlékváltozatát bocsátotta ki. A jubileumi 5 forintos érmék tematikus oldala Gyuró Mónika grafikai alkotása alapján valósult meg, akinek tervei a februárban lebonyolított közönségszavazáson bizonyultak a legnépszerűbbnek. Az érmeképek mind a hat elemén látható a Magyar Nemzeti Bank épületének egy-egy részlete, amelyek – megfelelő sorrendbe helyezve – együttesen az épület perspektivikus képét jelenítik meg. A hatféle érmekompozíció részét képezik a FORINT szó egyes betűi is, melyek egyedi betűtípusa az évfordulóra emlékezve, az 1946-ban forgalomba került forintérméken megjelent feliratok betűtípusát idézi meg. Az érmék tematikus oldalán látható még a „75 ÉVES FORINT” és a kibocsátás helyét jelölő „MAGYARORSZÁG” feliratok, valamint a kibocsátás idejére utaló „2021” évszám. Az emlékváltozatok névértékes oldala az 5 Ft-os forgalmi érmével megegyezik.

In addition to the 2021 proof circulation coin series, this set includes the 2021 proof commemorative versions of the 5 HUF circulation coin.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the introduction of the forint, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank unusually issued six commemorative versions of the 5 forint circulation coin. The thematic side of the 5th forint coins was realized on the basis of the graphic work of Mónika Gyuró, whose designs proved to be the most popular in the public vote held in February. All six elements of the coin images show a detail of the building of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, which, when placed in the appropriate order, together represent a perspective view of the building. The six coin compositions also include some letters of the word FORINT, the unique font of which evokes the font of the inscriptions appearing on the forint coins issued in 1946 in memory of the anniversary. The thematic page of the coins also shows the inscriptions “HUF 75 YEARS” and “HUNGARY” indicating the place of issue, as well as the year “2021” indicating the time of issue. The denomination side of the commemorative variants is the same as the HUF 5 circulation coin.
In addition to the 2021 proof circulation coin series, the 75-year-old forint circulation series of 2021, published in only 1,750 copies, also includes the 2021 proof commemorative versions of the 5 HUF circulation coin.
